Manchester City forward Ferran Torres has predicted good things for the new Barcelona duo of Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia. Spanish defender Garcia and Argentine international striker Sergio Aguero signed respective free transfer deals at Barcelona this summer. The two players were teammates of Torres at Manchester City before theyleft the Premier League champions this summer.

For Spanish international centre back Garcia, he has returned to boyhood club Barcelona. Garcia came through the famed La Masia Academy at Barcelona before signing for Manchester City. The Citizens tried to persuade him to stay at the club beyond his contract at the Etihad Stadium this summer but the player was determined to return to Barcelona. Garcia has signed a long-term deal at the Nou Camp on his return to the Spanish La Liga club.

Torres spoke to Spanish media portal RAC1 about Garcia and Aguero. According to him, he would miss Garcia and that his compatriot has made the right decision to sign for Barcelona. The Manchester City forward said that Garcia would be a great signing for the Catalan giants. On Aguero, he said that his record as a consistent goalscorer speaks for itself. He went on to say thathe expects the Argentine international to take to life back in the Spanish top flight with ease.

Sergio Aguero signed for Manchester City from Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid. He went on to score the goal that won the Premier League title for the Citizens in his first season at the Etihad Stadium.
