AGUERO AGREES BARCELONA DEAL – REPORTS
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has agreed a deal to sign for Spanish club Barcelona in the summer on a free transfer. This is according to the various reports in the British media. Sergio Aguero is said to have agreed a two-year deal withthe Catalans ahead of the start of the new season in August. The Argentine international is presently free to speak with clubs outside the Premier League as he has a few months to run on his deal with City at the moment. Aguero would be a free agent in the summer as it looks like Manchester City are ready to move on without one of their best players.
Aguero and Manchester City are still in all the four competitions this season meaning that a quadruple is a possibility for the club. The Argentine has not been involved much for the Premier League leaders this season due to injuries and Covid-19 but he’s gradually getting back to full fitness after the recent league game at relegation threatened Fulham. Sergio Aguero scored the third and final goal from the spot as Manchester City beat Fulham 3-0 away from home in their last league game penultimate weekend to maintain their place at the summit on the league standings.
